AVRT Conference Covid-19 Update

The AVRT Board of Directors strives to plan and provide impactful conferences containing meaningful, useful, and current information to our participants in a pleasant and safe environment. In light of this, and as a result of the unprecedented situation the Covid-19 crisis has engendered, we have decided to modify our format for the 2020 Conference planned in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The 2020 Conference will still occur, but it will be presented in a virtual environment that will allow you to attain CEU credits and gain relevant information. We will post more details about how that conference will take place in the very near future, but never fear, we will still go to Harrisburg in 2021.

This decision did not come easy for your Board of Directors. AVRT is a small organization, and we must be fiscally responsible. More importantly, though, we want everyone to remain safe while still offering the indispensable content so greatly needed. As we come through this time together, know that we look forward to the not-too-distant future when we can again provide the out-of-state travel opportunities for great education, networking, and camaraderie our conferences deliver.

Watch your emails for exciting news about conference details, opportunities for scholarships, and awards.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jane Thompson, AVRT Vice President, at jthompson@aph.org.
